About Alanna Victor

Alanna Victor is a communications and media professional, as well as a Summer 2023 graduate of Florida A&M University. Born in Knoxville and raised in Atlanta, she recently relocated  to continue expanding her career within the entertainment, media, and communications industries. As the oldest of six siblings, Alanna has always valued leadership, community involvement, and creating opportunities for those who come after her.

During her time at FAMU, Alanna was deeply engaged in campus leadership and student media. She served as PR Chair for both the Woman Student Union and the Class of 2023 Presidential Cabinet, while also contributing to student-led media platforms through article writing for The FAMUAN and hosting a radio show on 90.5 The Flava Station. She is also a member of SISTUHS Incorporated, the Original Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and Images Modeling Troupe. Through these organizations, she dedicated countless hours to volunteer work and community engagement initiatives.

Alanna’s professional background spans public relations, executive support, production, and creative operations. While in college, she completed internships with GolinTyler Perry Studios and BET Networks, where she gained firsthand experience within both PR and television /film production environments. One of her most impactful early career experiences was participating in the eight-week PRep program with Golin, where she developed hands on experience strategic communications and public relations.

Following graduation, Alanna continued her work with Golin on their Walmart account before expanding her experience into creative strategy and brand development through a micro internship with PDC Brands, supporting market research and product development initiatives for Cantu.

Most recently, Alanna worked as an Executive Assistant at Tyler Perry Studios, supporting fast-paced production and post-production operations. In this role, she managed executive scheduling and communications, coordinated meetings across departments, handled production expense and purchase card reconciliations, tracked project timelines and deliverables, maintained office operations, and worked closely with vendors and creative teams to ensure deadlines were met efficiently. Her experience in high pressure entertainment environments strengthened her ability to multitask, problem solve quickly, and support leadership while keeping productions moving seamlessly.

With a passion for communications, storytelling, branding, and culture, Alanna is driven by the power of meaningful audience connection. She values creativity, research, adaptability, and staying ahead of emerging trends while helping brands maintain authenticity and trust. As she continues building her career, Alanna remains focused on growing as a communications professional while contributing to innovative and culturally impactful work.
